I served America in the US Army as a Ranger-Qualified infantry officer and Special Forces Green Beret, and then as a Foreign Service Officer for the US State Department in a career spanning the globe over 32 years.

I served my community as Chair of the Stafford Democratic Committee, and on the Exec Committee of my local branch of the NAACP.

And now, I seek to serve you as your Representative in Congress, to negotiate better deals for Virginia.

The House needs to address the critical issues facing our nation, not generate more sound bites, and its failure to act for the common good is undermining our democracy. He knows that Virginia voters will measure his job performance in legislation he helps to pass, not media attention he is able to draw. Cliff has never been a politician before, and only seeks to continue serving to improve the lives of others.
